AI is not the enemy—lazy content is.
In a recent episode of The Pulse on Human Design, host Vickie Dickson dove deep into the truth behind AI-generated content and why your dream clients aren’t resonating with what you’re posting.
Everyone’s using AI. The internet is flooded with ChatGPT-written posts that sound robotic, lifeless, and packed with 💫 way ✨ too 🌟 many 🌈 emojis. It’s no surprise engagement is tanking.
The good news? There’s a better way to use AI—one that actually supports your voice, your values, and your vision.
Why Most AI Content Falls Flat
AI content usually skips the most human part of communication: emotion.
Vickie pointed out two big mistakes creators make:
Mistake #1: Surface-Level Prompts
Typing “Write a post about Human Design profiles” into ChatGPT will give you fluff. Probably a few bullet points, a vague hook, and something like “Manifesting Generators have lots of energy 😍🔥.”
That’s not connection. That’s noise.
Fix it:
- Add your own stories and real-life context.
- Infuse the post with what you believe about that content.
- Speak to actual clients you’ve helped or questions you’ve received.
Mistake #2: No “Dip” in the Story
Lisa Nichols calls it the “Dip Theory.” Great stories aren’t flat—they have struggle. Pain. Fire-under-the-tree moments.
Vickie explained that your ideal client is the hero. But most AI content skips the part where the hero gets stuck in a burning tree and still finds a way out. That’s the part that makes people *feel* something. And that’s the part AI can’t do—unless you guide it.
Use AI as a Starting Point, Not a Shortcut
AI can save you hours each week—if you stop asking it to do your job for you. Instead, use it like a creative partner:
- Generators / MGs: Ask AI for something to respond to.
- Projectors: Ask AI to reflect and recognize your gifts.
- Manifestors: Use AI to help initiate new conversations or ideas.
Vickie recommends building context-rich conversations with your AI tool. Don’t just say, “Write this.” Say, “Here’s my Human Design. Here’s how I teach. Here’s how I want to make people feel. Let’s create together.”
How to Train Your AI (Yes, Really)
One of the most powerful tips came from community member Chelsea Brady of The Rising Creative: feed your AI stories.
When a life moment or a client breakthrough happens, tell ChatGPT about it. Build a memory bank. That way, when it generates content, it pulls from your lived experience—not just the internet.
You can even give it your:
- Human Design (type, strategy, authority, channels, profile)
- Astrology
- Enneagram
- Favorite metaphors and analogies
Use your AI like a team member. Build rapport. Give it your essence.
