Private domain does not link with Website Builder

If your private (personal) domain does not link with the website at Bodygraph.com Website Builder there could be multiple reasons. Unfortunately, there is no universal guidance that applies to all domain providers, as each has its own setup requirements and DNS configurations. However, below you will find the possible adjustments that may be required to fully connect your domain.

Standard requirement is below:

1. Entering your domain exactly as purchased to Website Builders domain field.
2. Navigating to your domain providers DNS dashboard and adding CNAME with name as your domain and value as host.bodygraph.cc.

Common variations depending on the domain provider

1. It is important that there would be no A, AAA, AAAA records (with same name) that points to the different target IP. If there are any, they have to be removed.

2. Some of domain provides require to enter not a domain into the Name field, but simbol @ or www instead (e.g. Squarespace, Go Daddy). Keep in mind that if www is required to enter at DNS then your domain also must be entered with www at website builder domain field.

Note: if www version is required you will also need to refer to domain providers guide on how to set redirection from non www to www version of domain so that that both variants would open your website.

Sudden changes will fail the process and highly will cause the issues. We do recommend at least waiting for 3-4 hours before each change to see if applied change made any difference.
