To create your own Audio Report, record your voice in MP3 format, upload it to your track library, and start building your audio reports.
Here’s a simple, no-fuss way to record your voice and export it as an MP3 — whether you’re on a computer or phone:
💻 On a Computer
Option 1: Use Audacity (Free, works on Mac/Windows/Linux)
- Download & install Audacity: https://www.audacityteam.org/
- Open Audacity and select your microphone from the dropdown.
- Click the red record button 🎙️ and start speaking.
- When finished, click stop ⏹️.
- Go to File > Export > Export as MP3.
- You might be asked to install the LAME MP3 encoder — follow the link Audacity gives, it’s quick.
Option 2: Use your Mac’s Voice Memos app (Mac only)
- Open the Voice Memos app.
- Click Record.
- When finished, click Done, then Right-click > Export.
- If it exports as .m4a, you can convert it to MP3 using free tools like CloudConvert.
📱 On a Phone
iPhone
- Use the Voice Memos app.
- Record, then tap the 3 dots > Save to Files.
- If you need MP3, send the file to yourself and convert using CloudConvert.
Android
- Use the Voice Recorder app (built-in or from Play Store).
- Most allow export to MP3 or let you share to an app like Google Drive or Dropbox.
