5 Steps to Grow Your Audience in Human Design Business

Discover the essential 5-step strategy to expand your audience and thrive in your Human Design Business. Unlock the secrets to reaching more people and growing your business effectively.

1 – Define What Stage of Awareness Your Potential Audience Members Are In

First and foremost, you need to know how aware your potential followers are of Human Design and what you offer.

You will speak very differently to someone who has been living their Human Design experiment for 5 years than you would to someone who is brand new to it.

If you have been working with clients for a while, go back through your roster and see what people have come to you for.

▶️ Were they new to Human Design, needing foundational understanding?
▶️ Were they further along in their journey, ready to look at the more intricate parts of their design?
▶️ Were they Human Design practitioners looking for your take on things?

Notice what you love to talk about in Human Design.

Do you love to teach newbies how to use their strategy and authority or would you rather go through the circuitry with someone who has been around a while?

You will need to create content that speaks specifically to their stage of awareness so that you pique their interest and they want to follow along.

Tip – Speak as though you are speaking to an 8 year old.

While you may think that using big words makes you sound like you know what you are talking about, the opposite is actually true. When you can explain things at a 3rd grade level, you really have a handle on them.

You will draw people in as it will be easier for them to follow along with you and feel like you understand them and can meet them where they are at.

2 – Choose One Platform and Go All In

It really does not matter which platform you choose.

▶️ If you love video, start a Youtube channel.
▶️ If you love visual learning, use Pinterest.
▶️ If you enjoy interacting with people, try Facebook or Instagram.

Whatever you do, choose one and stick with it for long enough to get some traction (at least 6 months). You do not need to be everywhere. You just need to commit to one platform and do it well. Allow your audience to find you and get to know you.

Consider adding to your stories on IG or FB daily if you plan to use either of those platforms as it allows people to peek into your everyday life and feel like they know you.

Don’t panic!
The stories disappear after 24 hours so you can be real instead of perfect.

3 – Start To Build Your Email List

This is HUGE.
It is absolutely imperative that you have an email list.

Many email providers offer free accounts up to a certain amount of subscribers so you do not have to break the bank to start.

But you do have to start!!

Having an email list means that you no longer have to worry about changing algorithms, using the right hashtags, or the platform going down (which happens from time to time).

Traditionally, people convert better through email campaigns than through social media.

The best way to build your email list is with a valuable lead magnet. Ideally, it should be so good that people think: “WOW! I would have been happy to pay for that!”

I have been in business for myself for over 30 years and my best performing lead magnet of all time is the Human Design chart offered by Bodygraph. My second highest performing lead magnet was a quiz.

Take some time to dig around the Bodygraph site and look at all of the lead magnets available for you to use. If you do not see one you like, request that one be added.

The team is always looking for ways to serve you better.

4 – Deliver Value At Every Stage

Over and over again I am asked: “How much should I give away for free and what should I hold back?” That is a great question and one you will hear a lot of different answers to.

Here is what ha’ve found:
No matter how much information you give about Human Design, people will still need you to interpret it for them. We all love to learn about ourselves.

Let me ask you this: How many Human Design reports have YOU bought on your journey? I know that I have a drawer full of them and I still buy new ones and/or meet with coaches and practitioners from time to time.

I continue to gobble up all of the Human Design information online (maybe that is my open Head Centre 😝) even though I know a lot about it!

The people who value your services will always hire you, especially when they see you giving value on a regular basis.

Have you ever looked at someone’s social media account or email and thought, “My gosh, if this is what she gives away for free, her services must be incredible!”

You do not have to go into the nitty gritty of design (depending on your audience’s level of awareness). What they want is to understand themselves through your content.

Give them that and they’ll love you forever.

5 – Use Your Own Human Design

Ah.
The part we often forget.
Lean into your own Human Design to grow your audience.

▶️ Are you leveraging your design in your content creation and customer relations?
▶️ Are you showing up as your profile in their life?
▶️ Are you creating content according to your strategy?

If you are going to teach this stuff, you are going to have to live it first!

No matter if your audience is currently sitting at zero or ten thousand, there is always room for growth. Start today or wish you had.
